Products Governed trading workspace

PocketAlpha

Running in shadow mode

A trading planner and paper-trading workspace, built to prove how far the same governance model goes when money is involved. It trades only when a written rule is met. It does not predict, read the news or explain itself: has the price moved by the set amount, or reached the set level? Then it acts, and only within the guardrails.

How it works

  • 01

    Write the rule

The rule is numbers, not judgement. Changing it is a deliberate edit, not a mood.

  • 02

    Watch the price

An always-on watcher checks the market every few seconds.

  • 03

    Act in shadow first

In shadow mode it records what it would have done, with pretend money, before it may act for real.

  • 04

    Keep the ledger

Every order, fill and change lands in an append-only ledger.

The guardrails

A stop on every position
Mandatory stops and targets, and every trade sized to a stated loss.
Daily loss lock
Once the day's loss limit is hit, nothing more trades that day.
Capital ceiling and kill switch
A hard cap on what it may use, and one switch that stops everything.
Quotes that expire
A stale price cannot be traded on. Fills are idempotent, so nothing doubles.
Typed confirmation
The live path sits behind a hard per-order cap and a typed confirmation.
